Many pharmaceutical companies have patient assistance programs for those who don't have the financial resources or insurance plan to cover medications. If you need assistance, check to see if the manufacturer(s) of your medication(s) have such a plan, then ask your physician to help you apply. Partners for Prescription Assistance: Help finding medications when you can't afford them.
A new program, Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA), is one of the most impressive I've seen. PPA is a national coalition, the largest-ever private-sector program to help patients who lack prescription coverage get access to the meds they need. PPA includes pharmaceutical companies, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, other health care providers, patient advocates and community leaders.
