Dr. Strickler is a native of Williamstown, WV. He attended West Virginia Wesleyan. His Medical School training was at West Virginia University College of Medicine where he was Vice-President of Alpha Omega Alpha, an organization reserved for those in the top ten percent of their medical school class.
He completed his internship at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He received his ophthalmology training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Strickler is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Strickler's special interests include topical cataract surgery and glaucoma and diabetic eye care.
