Definition: Acetaminophen is a commonly used medication in the treatment of migraines and other headaches. It is usually referred to by its trade name, Tylenol. It can be used in children and adults, but be sure to consult with a healthcare provider to confirm dosages. The maximum allowable dose for an adult is 4000 mg (4 g) in one day.
