Ask the Clinician

Question: Wicked headache in high heat and humidity. Anything I can do?

Answer:

Dear Lindy:

Heat and humidity are known triggers for migraines and headaches. I'd suggest seeking out a headache specialist in your area. A trick: draw a tub of water and immerse for 10 minutes 2-3 times per day during hot weather. This can help reduce heat-related headaches.

Good luck,
John Claude Krusz
