Ask the Clinician

Question: Child with venous angioma contributing to Migraines.

Answer:

Dear Rhonda:
Hard to find someone who is a neurosurgeon who is comfortable with headache treatment; also there are very few pediatric neurologists who specialize in headache, although we have one in Dallas (Steven Linder, MD). My best suggestion is Roger Cady, MD in Springfield, Missouri.

Good luck,
John Claude Krusz

Rhonda,

Two other pediatric and adolescent headache specialists you can check out are Dr. Paul Winner in Palm Beach, Florida, and Dr. Eric Pearlman in Savannah, Georgia.
