Ask the Clinician

Question: Daily headaches. Antidepressants for two years. Nothing has worked.

Answer:

Dear Claire,

It's time to get to a true Migraine specialist with an established track record. There are over 100 medications that can be used for headache and Migraine prevention, and nearly endless combinations of them. Antidepressants may not be the answer for you, but there are many other choices. A specialist is also better equipped to help you identify any triggers for your daily pain and formulate a complete treatment regimen.

Good luck,
Teri Robert and John Claude Krusz
