Question: Post-concussion headaches... would heat or cold packs help?

Answer:

Full Question:

I suffer headaches caused by the amount of concussions I have had. Lucky for me Advil keeps most of them under control. For the times that it doesn't, I was wondering if heat or cold packs can take the edge off of a migraine. I have tried to search for this information and nobody seems to know which one, or if either even help at all. If you have time to answer your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff.

Answer:

Dear Jeff;

This is one you'll have to answer based on your own personal experience. For some people, heat helps; for others, cold packs help. For some people, neither one helps. There just isn't one answer here.

Good luck,
Teri Robert and John Claude Krusz
