Question: Can Migraines be caused by an automobile accident?

Is the type of headache you get as result of whiplash-type injury or neck strain from motor vehicle accident the same as a migraine headache? Can a migraine headache be "caused" by a motor vehicle accident which resulted in muscle strains/sprains or does the person already have the migraine history and the MVA-related injury aggravates or triggers the migraine? Many post-whiplash and post-concussional headaches behave like migraines. The answer to both of your questions is yes.
