I have been having migraines for 20+ years. I am 35 years old. Last year I lost my job due to my migraines. They have totally overtaken my life. I live in Pennsylvania, I have been to Hershey Medical Center, they treated me with DHE for 48 hours with no help. I have also taken 3/4 of medications that are generally used to treat migraines. Currently I am receiving Social Security Disability. I am also bipolar and overweight. The doctors at their ends with help for me it is a daily struggle everyday. If there is anything else that you could suggest or someplace to go, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Melody.

I believe you have a resource in your area, Dr. Warren Wasiewski in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He may have moved on in the last 2-3 years. Topamax has recently been approved for Migraine prophylaxis, and it can theoretically help with weight and mood disorders. You best bet would be to head for Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, where there are a number of top headache specialists.
