Question: Side of head feels hot during a Migraine. Migraine or another type of headache?

Answer:

Full Question:

Hi, I have had migraines since I was about 7 or so. Lately when I get them the entire side of my head seems to get hot. Not like fever hot because it only feels hot on the inside. If that makes any sense. They are always on the right side of my head where I always seem to get my migraine pain. Is this just another sign of a migraine or is it another type of a headache? Thanks, Kim

Answer:

Dear Kim;

Migraine can cause the head to feel hot and sometimes even a fever. To read our answer about that click HERE. We can't tell if that's what you're experiencing or not via the Internet. Please follow up with your doctor.

Good luck,
