7) Hi, I am a frequent flyer of migraine headaches. Usually requiring a trip to the emergency room once a month. My Doctor feels it's hormonal I will agree with that. But recent blood work for allergies discovered elevated levels (cat dander, pollen mold, etc.) Could this also trigger migraines? Does Topamax decrease appetite? Christina in headache land.

8) About 25 years ago I suffered from a lot of Migraine Headaches, my doctor treated me with Fiorinal. I was under a lot of stress and had a bad marriage. After my divorce and life got a little better, I came off the medication. Since then I might have a few a year. I am now 57... I have had about 5-6 of the headaches this year alone. Recently while driving, my vision got all impaired. I wasn't seeing double or blurry, everything I saw was in broken pieces. I went to see an ophthalmologist and she described it best, she said it was like looking through a kaleidoscope... Thank you, Susan.
