1) My son (27) has had headaches (actually feels more like constant pressure in his head, sometimes almost like his head will explode) for many years now. He has been to so many doctors here in West Palm Beach, FL... Mrs. Waldman

2) My husband was just diagnosed with hemiplegic migraines. He has been in the hospital for five days with left sided weakness that has slowly come back (but not fully as of yet) and has spells that leave him confused as to the people around him as to who they are including his family... Penny.

3) I have adhesive arachnoiditis, (on top of 12 levels of ruptured disks- 7 surgery sites-20" of spine surgeries, with concomitant nerve damage to some) which causes severe intolerable pain. AND migraines. Add to that, apparently, some possible analgesic rebound effect, from being on narcotics for 13 years for the spine surgeries.... Alex.

4) The question I have is how do I deal with E.R. doctors that treat me like I am a drug addict? There are a couple of doctors who have sent me home and I was still in severe pain and throwing up. I have to admit one or two are decent about the headaches. These headaches interfere with my education and daily life. What can I say to the doctor to get them to understand.

5) My husband, age 75, suffered a bout of severe dehydration last July, as a result of an attempt to wean him off prednisone and supplant his therapy with methotrexate for recurring Polymyalgia Rheumatica... Shortly after, he began having excruciating headaches... Mary Anne.

6) My boyfriend has suffered from migraines for over 25 years. As he has gotten older, he has had fewer occurrences, but more severe. He does drink alcohol regularly, usually one martini a day 5 days a week. Last week, he exceeded his usual amount, having 2 and a half drinks over a two hour period and on a full stomach. Five hours after the first drink, he was found passed out in the bathroom... C L

7) I have had CAD since 33 y/o (I am 46 now) 2 failed CABGs, 7 stents. I am now suffering from pressure headaches. When I cough or sneeze the headache feels like a balloon has popped in my head... Arlene.

8) Please help me. I have been getting headaches at night for the past year. I have had migraines since the age of ten but these are different. It is a feeling of pressure, it feels like my head is going to explode. It hurts to lay on the soft pillow and it feels like I am laying on a hard surface. I get them after I go to sleep every night, some nights are worse than others... Mary Ellen.

9) I have had migraines forever. They were well under control until something weird happen in Dec. 04. I usually don't have an aura, that time, the day before I had loud pulsatile noise both ears... Mariepi.

10) Can the weather trigger sinus headache? The humidity is high 90-100% and the temperature is in the high 80's. When I am in air, I am fine. When I go outside, a sensation comes over me starts top of my head and goes directly to the eyes and a dull headache appears sometimes pain and will not go away until I sleep. I have taken Advil's, they do not work as well as if I take early in the morning when I get up. Thanks! Adrienne.

11) I have been having a sharp shooting pain on the left side of my head. It feels like the start of a migraine, but I don't get one. I have been feeling tired and slight dizziness. I am also 8 weeks pregnant. Should I have this Checked out?

12) My Doctor prescribed Fioricet (Butalbital) for tension headaches but before taking any I noticed that it contains caffeine - could you recommend a second effective choice without the caffeine which I am allergic to. Thanks, Ron.
