1) Have you ever heard of any link
between meningitis and migraine? My husband had very serious meningitis age 20
and a few months later had his first migraine attack. That was 30 years ago and
he is now a chronic sufferer and has tried just about everything, with no
lasting result.... Helen.

2) I have been getting migraines
for over 20 years. Since the "triptan" family came around, life has been more
manageable, at least until recently... If I alternate the use of Zomig, Imitrex
and Relpax (e.g. day 1-Zomig; day 2-Imitrex; day 3 Relpax) am I still at risk of
rebound? Thank you, Sheila S.

3) For years I have had migraines
but 99% of the time they start in the middle of the night. There are no triggers
as far as foods, climate, etc.... My neurologist does not seem to be overly
concerned. I've tried every medicine to no avail, the only one that works is
Fioricet!... Could I benefit from seeing a sleep disorder doctor?... Madeline.

4) I recently experienced an acute
headache on the left hand side of my head while working out. I was doing a VERY
tough elevated push up exercise... An hour or so later it turned to a strong
dull throb. This dull throb has lasted two weeks now... This pain can be quite
severe throughout the day... It also seems to start right up about 5 minutes
after I rise in the morning... Sean.

5) I am 39 years old and have been
suffering with migraines for one and a half years... I have tried every
prophylactic medication out there with very little success. My neurologist has
started me on Botox shots... There is very little information available
regarding Botox and migraines... Are there any damaging long term effects? I do
feel that my migraines are hormone related.. De-Ann.

6) I have never had a headache
that didn't go away in a couple of hours. However I have had this pain in my
left side temple that is now going into the middle of my forehead for 3 days
now. What can I take and also what type of headache could this be? Thank-you,
Cassandra.

7) I was wondering about something
my neurologist had mentioned. I have swelling on the lower part of my leg which
has been there for a few years now. He said something about it possibly being a
calcium deposit and wanted me to tell the primary care physician to have it
fully checked out. My question is: how would they find out if this is what it is
and what the procedure is to remove or get rid of it?... Tina.

8) I have heard from others that
you are not supposed to take more than 3-4 Maxalt a month - is this true? I have
found that Maxalt works for me, but for the past 6 months or so I have gotten
migraines more often and have been taking about 12/month! Christine.

9) Since the beginning of the year
I have been experiencing daily headaches some of them migraines... I have been
to a neurologist who put me on antidepressants to help the migraines and an ENT
who couldn't get past the partially deviated septum I have... I am a 43 year old
male and no one seems to be looking for the cause of these sudden symptoms just
treating the symptoms...

10) I believe I have migraines...
The most bothersome symptom is severe full body ache and I feel very tired and
have trouble thinking clearly after the aura... I don't hear anyone talk about
the poor mentation or body ache from migraine, is this a symptom of migraine?

11) I have had tests for the case
of vertigo and have seen a neurologist after having a CT scan. All agree I have
Migraine with aura. I get short bursts of vertigo and have had them for nearly
three years. It all began about four weeks after major surgery.. Do you think
anesthesia could have been the initial trigger? I do not currently and never had
the pain associated with Migraines. Thanks for your input, Janet.

12) The question I have is how do
I deal with E.R. doctors that treat me like I am a drug addict. There are a
couple of doctors who have set me home and I was still in severe pain and
throwing up. I have to admit one or two are decent about the headaches. These
headaches interfere with my education and daily life. What can I say to the
doctor to get them to understand. Marcie.
