1) I have suffered with headaches for 10-12 years... My headaches are always on the same side... Never any where else... perimenstrual headaches ...I take Tylenol #3 about two days before my cycle starts and pretty much for about 4-5 days after trying to prevent the headache from coming... These are my two bad times of the month... suggestions?... Chrissy.

2) I was wondering if you can have migraines without a headache? I have had for about a little over a month now, what I call a cooling sensation or pressure above my left eyebrow, I notice more during stress and at night, especially when I am tired. But I never get a headache....

3) I am a woman of 63 yrs and have had migraines for years. They have gotten much better since I got off of progesterone/estrogen and changed my eating lifestyle but I still get them every month or so. I have tried a lot of drugs and nothing works like the Imitrex shot that I took 10yr ago... I would like to try some of the new triptans or even Imitrex again but I have been told that I am too old to take them...

4) I have been suffering from migraines for approximately 20 years. In tracking my migraines, it appears that they are associated with my menstrual cycle. I often get a migraine two weeks before my period, as well as, within two days of my period. My question: Is it likely that my migraines will cease once I go through menopause? Barbara.

5) I get migraines maybe four times a month maybe less maybe more once in awhile I end up in ER. Should I take preventives, or should I just treat them with Maxalt and Zomig like i have been. The side effects to preventives are awful. I'd rather just do it this way. Is this okay?

6) The last two weekends when I go out to clubs or bars the next day I have the worst headache that is without drinking. I went to an open air concert and had some people around me smoking...the next day I had the same headache. I found that the common thread there was the second hand smoking. I don't want to not go out but is there anything that can be done to help lessen the pain. Are there some things I can do prior to going out? Please help! Yadira.

7) Two very similar questions:
~ Why do I experience an excruciating migraine as I begin to have an orgasm? The pain lasts for 15 to 30 minutes, gradually subsiding until diminished. I almost dread having sex with my fiancé because it always ends in extreme pain! Help! What's going on with my head?? How can I prevent this from happening? Vitamins? Herbs? Meds? Help me out, Doc!! I definitely do not want to give up sex! Thanks! Paul
~ I sometimes get the onset of an extremely intense headache just before orgasm. Why is this and just as importantly, how can I prevent this? Marla.

8) Cluster headaches - can they be dangerous? I don't get them very often, but when I do, I feel like death would be better. The last one I had I felt like I was going to puke but I was praying I would not because I felt like if I did my head would explode.

9) My husband has headaches almost every single day of his life. It has ruined our lives for almost 20 years. The headaches lately have been down the left side of his head, and this particular headache has been there for almost 8 continuous days now... I feel desperate for him and for me and my family. We can't plan or do anything because of these headaches.

10) I have been told by my neurologist that I am suffering from rebound headaches. I have had a headache almost every day for the last two weeks (I believe these are hormone-related), and have not taken one Imitrex a day during this period. My doctor said not to take anything for a couple of days and to just "suffer" through them... I think it is very easy for a doctor, or any one who does not have Migraines, to say "suffer" through it... Help! Lisa.
