1) My husband has been getting migraines now for about 25 years. He goes several months with no headaches then they start up again. He is now taking Relpax for them. Would massage therapy possibly help. I have noticed they get really bad when he is under stress.

2) I am 36-years-old and have been diagnosed with cluster headache but I'm a little unsure re diagnosis as I experience the unilateral runny eye and nose and tingling in my fingers but the headache is not severe and sometimes not present at all - can this still be cluster headache? emma.

3) I've been having migraines sporadically for 15 years. Until this year, they almost always followed the same pattern: aura, receding after 15-20 minutes, then usually the pain followed, sometimes accompanied by nausea and/or vomiting. This year before the aura, I have difficulty finding words to express what I would like to say, either verbally or in writing, followed by a relatively quick aura and extreme pain, no vomiting... Is this a common symptom or development? Jeanie.

4) I am having a sleep study because my migraines almost ALWAYS wake me from my sleep or I wake with a migraine... How often are sleep disorders - apnea and others related to migraine? Secondly, how often are patients taken of preventives for a complete drug holiday and how do most survive? Presently I am MISERABLE!

5) I have been suffering from migraines for approximately 20 years. In tracking my migraines, it appears that they are associated with my menstrual cycle. I often get a migraine two weeks before my period, as well as, within two days of my period. My question: Is it likely that my migraines will cease once I go through menopause? Barbara.

6) ...weird type of pain in my head (headache?). It is always on the back left side of my head and it feels like a pressure pushing out... They only last about 5 minutes or so and can be quite painful and then disappear but leave me with a horrid headache... Had MRI and MRA which showed: "several bilateral tiny nonspecific high signal foci on FLAIR images in the subcortical white matter could represent early chronic ischemic white matter disease or demyelination...

7) I have suffered from migraines for about five years. I am 27 years old... I cannot tolerate opiates (nausea, even with promethazine/Zofran). I have tried almost all serotonin medications... I've tried Topamax, Depakote ER, and Effexor. All of these things mask migraines or make me ill. I am trying acupuncture and chiropractics. Any recommendations? Thanks, Marc.

8) I have a history of epilepsy as a child. I was taken off Dilantin at 16 years old. I am now 30 and have only had 1 seizure since then and it was at 21 yrs old. I have history of migraines. I have been able to control these. However, sometimes I get what I call a charlie horse type feeling on left side of head that brings me to my knees. It only lasts 15-30 seconds each time. I do not get them on a regular basis but I do get them. My doctor looks at me funny when I try to explain this to him. Could this type of pain mean something?

9) I have been diagnosed with migraine headaches recently and was prescribed Relpax. Over the last 4 weeks the attacks have been occurring 3-4 times per week. I was wondering if: 1) By taking Relpax 3-4 times a week to stop the attacks, am I causing the attacks to reoccur? Could my body be "addicted" to Relpax? If so, how do I wean myself and will this cause the attacks to lessen in frequency? Sincerely, Alisson.
