1) I was diagnosed and have suffered with migraines since I was 20 years old. I am now 41 and they have become extremely worse over the past few years... My physician ordered an MRI and found lesions on my brain... do the lesions cause my migraines or did my migraines cause the lesions? I am also wondering if there is any substantial evidence that these lesions cause brain damage? Thank you, Cyndy

6) I have a 33 year history of headache. Tension type rather than migraine.. Recently I had a total knee replacement. While rehabbing the knee, I have been prescribed OxyContin 40mg 2 per day. One every 12 hrs. I feel no rush, no euphoria and NO HEADACHE... If my headaches come back, why wouldn't a doctor keep me on whatever level is needed to defeat the headache pain I am feeling?... BAC

9) ..I am 35 and have been diagnosed with chronic migraines since I was 16... I was sent home with Topamax and another med that I can't remember... By three weeks on Topamax I could not function very well... I demanded that I be taken off the Topamax... I worked my way up to 1500mgs of magnesium with calcium a day. I was still having the headaches daily but I was getting better. She then came to me with a study on CO Q 10 and melatonin. I added these as well to my diet. My diet changed from my collapse. I can not tolerate Chocolate ( loved this so much), caffeine, alcohol... I do not want to be on heavy medication for the rest of my life. I honestly believe that there has to be a nutritional reason for this.... Brandy

10) I have been suffering from Migraines for 20 years. I have tried many medications that didn't work. A doctor put me on Fiorinal with Codeine and for the first time this med worked. I have been taking this for 10 yrs. My regular doctor is over in Iraq and every doctor I see wants to take me off this. My doctor told me not to worry about taking it because when your in such pain the medicine goes right to the pain. What can I do? Marcia.
