2) I have been having persistent headaches for about five years, and in those years I have gone to various professionals for diagnosis, but they don't seem to find the cause of the headaches. First I went to an ENT surgeon and they did x-ray of my sinuses and they found they were infected. They treated them, but still the headaches persisted. Also a CT scan was done on my brain and nothing was found to warrant a serious headache according to my physician. Please can you help me doctor?

6) ...I was diagnosed with migraines 4 or 5 years ago. I've taken Imitrex, Zomig, the tablets that dissolve on your tongue, and the shots. Nothing is working. The only thing that really gets rid of the headaches is hydrocodone which I haven't used in a long time because my doctor was concerned with it's addictive qualities, even though I've never had a problem with it. What concerns me is I also have been experiencing short term memory loss. I went through testing with a neuropsychiatrist and my memory loss was severe... Right now my main concern are my headaches. I either wake up with them or onset starts within 30 min. of waking. They last all day... What can I do? ... Rosalie.

7) I am a 56-year-old female with a history of migraines... The only way to describe the "spells" is: I start becoming very dizzy with extreme motion sickness, dry heaves or vomiting and need to lay down immediately. Sometimes not able to get to bed or couch and have laid down on the floor. I have lost my balance on several occasions and have fallen once or twice. After these spells I end up with a migraine... Where can I locate more information regarding my symptoms? Is this a common form of migraines? Is there any preventative medication? Medication when the migraine starts? etc.?

8) I am a 22-year-old female. I have had migraines for about 10 years but I can no longer take the meds that I was previously on do to different medical problems. I was wondering if you could give me a list of different meds that work good for treating migraines. Thanx Katherine.

9) Somewhere I read that upper thoracic scoliosis can cause migraines that begin with stiffness in neck and travel up one side of the head. Have you heard of this?

10) I recently went to the doctor and was told that perhaps I was having migraines but I told him that my head hardly "ached" or was in pain. I do get visual distortions such as tunnel vision and 3D distortions approximately 2-3 times a week... I was not aware that migraines manifested with visual distortions and no pain in the head. Does this type of migraine have a specific name if it's even a migraine?...
