1) I am a 16 year old boy, who does lots of sport and eats well. The other day I suffered from what I thought was a headache but now turns out to have been a migraine... do people ever get one off migraines or once you have one, does that always mean more are on the way? thanks, Don

2) For two years I have been having headaches which appear to be primarily the result of bright lighting conditions, particularly driving in bright sunlight... (1) Can this be migraine? (2) I am told that there are vitamins that will tend to improve this condition... Bart.

3) I have recently started getting sharp shooting pains in the back of my head running from low down into the centre of my head... Are these anything to worry about? I don't want to take painkillers, but I am a little concerned that they may be indicative of something more serious. Many thanks, Alison.

5) I am 31 and I have had migraines since I was 3.... I find relief in aborting migraines by using Imitrex. However, I often experience muscle soreness after using Imitrex. Recently my neurologist put me on a prophylactic, Pamelor. I am also on Zoloft for anxiety and irritability. My question has two parts: Do you know why my muscles feel sore... after taking any amount of Imitrex?... is it dangerous to be taking Pamelor, Zoloft, and Imitrex together? Thank you, K-Lea.

6) My neurologist recently diagnosed me with migraines that start with D. I have had the migraine since June 27 and it has caused memory loss so I can't remember what it's called. Could you please tell me what it is, how to prevent it, and what may have caused it? Thank You, Roberta.

7) Is it possible for someone, (my teenage daughter) to have debilitating head at the same time every day? Namely early morning. It has affected her schooling greatly and of course has put a real strain on everyone's relationship in our family...

8) It all started about 3 weeks ago when I left work because of pain in my eyes like someone pressing in on them. I went to the ER and was told to see an eye doctor. I went to the eye doctor and had them checked and he said there was nothing wrong with my eyes and it was probably my sinuses... I have had this pain constantly for 5 days now... Could a headache last this long...

9) I have had migraine headaches since 1964. I'm now 55 years old... There is only one thing that relieves my migraines (I'm up to two, sometimes three a day). That is a combination of a 100mg Imitrex tablet along with a Midrin or a Fiorinal with codeine... I saw an article on MSN or one of those web sites a year or two ago that had to do with two Italian doctors (I think they were genetic specialists) who said they had the key to actually curing migraines...

10) First of all, I am currently taking daily Verapamil, birth control pill (Lessina) - (many of my migraines seem to be hormone related) and Nortriptyline. The combination of meds I am on finally seems to have brought my migraines under control, but I believe my short-term memory over the past 2 years (particularly when I get a migraine and/or take the Maxalt) is severely compromised -- to the point where it is affecting my work and other areas of my life. I have not found any side-effects suggesting Maxalt is the culprit. Is short-term memory loss common with migraines, or is this a function of my age!... Leanne.
