1) I had a cold about 7 weeks ago with blocked ears, teeth ache etc. which I associated with sinus. I then started to get flashing lights which lasted about 15 minutes. I did not get a headache with this, but it seemed like migraine. I do suffer with migraine occasionally. I am still getting this every couple of weeks. Any suggestions what this might be?

2) I was wondering if migraines fall under the FMLA laws? My migraines start as allergies then turn to headaches and then to migraine. I am usually only out for a couple of hours and the most a day of work but the company is getting strict about our sick time. I was also wondering if you had any patients that got migraines from glasses?. I have the glasses with the magnets that hold the sunglasses on. Since I have stopped wearing those I have not had as many migraines. I think when I was getting my migraine that I would wear my glasses/sunglasses which then I would get another headache. Paula.

3) I have had migraines for as long as I can remember. I am now 30 years old and the older I get the more severe and more frequent the migraines become. I see a cardiologist for problems with hypertension, he referred me to a neurologist for the migraines. When I spoke to the neurologist she claims there is nothing currently on the market that I can safely take for the migraines without putting myself at greater risk of stroke. What other options do I have if any?

4) I would like to start off by saying thank you for time to answer my question. I am 40-years-old and was in a car accident 2 years ago, I broke my C1 and C2. I required a halo which I wore for 4 mos. My healing process has been good. But recently I started having what seems to be tremors (I start feeling like my head is shaking). I also experience nausea when this happens. I do suffer from cluster migraines also. My question to you is could this shaking be related to a possible neurological problem from the broken neck or could this be migraine related? I have never experienced this before. Also what steps should I take to resolve this problem? Thank you for any help! Gina.

5) I took my daughter to the doctor because she is having headaches daily. He said she is having migraines but did not do an MRI. I am very upset because I feel they have the resources to make sure there is not a serious underlying problem. Do you feel a MRI is warranted?

6) My name is Claire, I have suffered with headaches for over 8 years, I have tried lots of different treatments. I have been seeing my doctor for two years who has prescribed anti-depressants as they are used for headaches too but none of these have worked. I had a scan which I'm waiting for full results on but it looked fine as far as my neurologist was concerned. I have a headache every single day with no relief at all as I do not take pain killers - this was thought to be part of my problem in the first place but since stopping these its made no difference at all. I am running out of options as the drugs my doctor is now trying have terrible side effects and I can't possibly take them as I already miss enough of work just because of my head and these drugs made me unable to concentrate, drive, see clearly. Any advice?
