1) I have been having a persistent headache above and behind my right eye for over a month now. It is severe pain in the morning and then levels off throughout the day, to a mild pain by the time I go to bed. However, when I wake up in the morning the severe pain is back... term "Persistent Headache"? ...

3) I am a female 54 years of age and menopausal. I have a 30 year history of migraines, but the past 6 months they have become unbearable. I have been on HRT for about 2 1/2 years... The middle of January the doctor put me on a Climara Pro patch, The headaches have worsened even more... Are you aware of any HRT combination that seems to work better than others for women with a history of migraine?... HELP! Ann.

5) I am a 38 year old woman and have been suffering from migraines for 3 years now... will the Axert work on the aura's (dizziness, feeling like there is a hat on my head, pain above my right temple, lightheaded, weakness,) or just the pain of a migraine?

6) ...I have had migraines since Jan. 16, 1999. Woke up one Saturday morning in high school, went to a volleyball tournament, had a head ache, did not hit my head, and never got rid of it. I have been on every drug your web site has listed in the past seven years. I have been to University of Michigan's Neurology dept, with no help, as well as Diamond Head Clinic in Chicago, Ill... Thank you, Meg

7) My query regard prophylaxis for cluster headaches. I am a 42 y.o. male and have textbook clusters, from age of onset to symptoms and severity to frequency of attacks to common triggers... I cannot use beta blockers as they antagonize my asthma and psoriasis and I seem to be ok with verapamil, but the Topamax on the other hand, needs replacing... hope that you might be able to point me in the right direction so that I can make the suggestion to my health care provider. Thanks.

8) I'm 26 and for the past 15 years I've had an occasional "traditional" migraine---aura, numbness, pain, etc. If I can get to sleep right away I sleep for a few hours and wake up feeling better. But in the two years or so I have had headaches that feel like migraines but don't come with an aura or numbness. When I go to sleep with this headache, I wake up with the same headache. Are these two different kinds of headaches? Does sleeping only help relieve certain kinds of migraines? Thanks, Emily.

9) I have suffered with migraines for years. My doctor has not been able to help me. I have seen a neurologist and had a CAT scan. They say that there is nothing wrong with my brain. That I am merely suffering from depression and that the migraines stem from that... Can you help me determine what might be wrong? Thanks, Shannon

10) I had meningo-encephalitis for two months end of October to just before Christmas 2005. By Christmastime the edema was all finally gone according to the MRI's. I teach and in January tried to go back to school but was still having daily awful headaches... Since then I have been having on average 2 migraines a week and some other new headaches with sharp jabbing intense pains I have never had before... Why I am still having these intense and varied headaches? Should I see a headache specialist? ... Thanks, Cheri.
