1) Do you know of any doctors in the USA who are doing deep brain stimulation on cluster patients?

2) I read in a magazine that 100 mg of vitamin B2 daily reduces migraine pain according to recent studies. Do you know anything about this? Thank you, Patricia.

3) I am looking for information on Fioricet-type medication for the treatment of intractable headaches during pregnancy; a literature review (i.e. Silberstein et. al - Lovell et al.) conducted so far seem to indicate that treatment with butalbital-containing medications may be relatively safe despite the lack of prospective studies. I am interested in receiving advice e/o additional information on retrospective studies results support the use of this kind of medication as far as birth defects are concerned. Thanks for Your kind attention, Best regards, Roberta Villa, Pharm.d.

4) I am 34 years old and I have been having migraines occasionally over the past 5 years. This past weekend I ended up in the ER with headache symptoms that differed from my past episodes. As a precaution they gave me a CAT scan and it came back abnormal. There have been some white matter changes (since my last CAT) that the ER Dr. said is common in people that suffer migraines. They have referred me to get a MRI as a follow up. So I am now a little "freaked out" over this. What are white matter changes and what is the seriousness of this condition? Thank you, flea.

5) Dear Sir, I hope you will have a moment to take a look at my question regarding my neurologist prescribing Depakote as an abortive. In all the research I have done, I can only find references to Depakote used as a prophylaxis and am curious about information for it's use as an abortive. The doctor is doing this because of concern for my age(63) and the fact that triptan medications are apparently off limits to older patients. Will really appreciate your expertise in this matter. Respectfully, Sally.
