2) I have a lot of headaches behind my right eye and right temple. I always thought they were sinus headaches since I can put pressure on the inside corner of my eye and it seems to help at the moment, but it doesn't go away. My family doctor sent me to an ear, nose & throat doctor. He took a CT scan but didn't see any sinus problems, so he sent me to a neurologist. He put me on Frova to take when a headache started to come on, and it stopped... Thank you, Becky.

3) I am a 49 yr. old woman & have had migraines since my early 20’s. They were almost always a result of my menstrual cycle. At 45, I had a total hysterectomy and thought that would be the end of my migraines, but I was wrong. They still continue and are probably just as frequent, if not more so now than ever before... Sandy.

4) I've had migraines for over 20 years. I went to one of the best-known clinics for 8 years. I currently see a neurologist at another headache clinic. He told me, after trying several medicines, that he was "stumped". He says I've been on everything he can think of... They tell me they are intractable. Isn't there any hope at all for someone like me? Patty

6) ...my daughter. She has had migraines since she was 9. She is now 21 & has recently went to a Neurologist. She had a Cat Scan & we are waiting for the results. Her Doctor put her on Topamax. I wasn't too concerned until my sister freaked out when she found out that the Doctor prescribed this as a first line of defense... As a parent, I am very concerned for my daughter's safety. Should I be freaked out as well with this Topamax? Thanks for your help. Donna

7) I started peri-menopause rather early (at 38). Prior to that, I had experienced several severe headaches which I did not classify as migraines. But shortly after menopausal symptoms hit, I began to experience migraines with increasing severity. .. My primary doctor put me on Inderal and Topamax when the headaches would not cease...
neurologist was patronizing, told me my scans were perfect and that he couldn't help me, "It's just hormonal," ... What is the current word on hormonally induced headaches? ... Debra

8) About 3 years ago, at the age of 44, I was diagnosed as having silent migraines. It started with double vision; when I was driving I was seeing two roads, one on top of the other. I also was very tired and my neck hurt. To get my eyes focusing properly I would have to close one of them. Lately I have been having these migraines every day, all day, for about 3 to 4 weeks. I go to bed tired and wake up tired. I had an MRI 2 1/2 years ago, which showed a shadow on my brain... Do you think I should have another MRI, just to calm my fears? ... Sincerely, Maria.

9) Can you tell me why Doctors do not want to use Demerol to get rid of migraines? I used to go to Urgent Care for a shot when it is really bad. My Doctor had instructions on file. Now I give myself shots at home, Dilaudid. This works, but not as good as Demerol. Nancy.

10) I have been suffering from headaches for as long as I can remember (around six years old if not younger). It's not like they come or go; they never go away. I have them 24/7... I am also too young to be put on other drugs for I am only fourteen. Pain killers such as Advil, don't work at all... Is there anything that can help?... Rosie.
