1) I am a thirty year old woman who has been suffering from head pain since Dec 8, 2005. I had chronic pain in my head and even experienced face paralysis on the left side. I couldn't even blink my eye. The pain, on a scale of 1-10, was a level 9. I could barely walk straight, vomited, and vision was extremely blurred. I was hospitalized and check for stroke, bell's palsey, multiple sclerosis... Thank you, Krista.

2) I have a problem in regard to medical procedures that require no eating or drinking before, and the resulting low blood sugar and lack of caffeine from morning coffee that often ends up triggering a migraine for me. I have an impending procedure later this month... Benita.

3) I just started a new job that requires me to wear safety glasses. Within a few minutes I develop a severe migraine. I have tried all of the different types of goggles but nothing seems to help, and they are necessary for my job. Afterwards the bridge of my nose is kind of numb for most of the rest of the day. Can you offer any advise? Andrea.

4) I suffer from sudden, debilitating headaches. I have not had one that lasted more than 30 seconds. It is as if I have been struck in the side of the head with a club. Then as suddenly as it appeared, it is gone. If it is a bad one (lasting the full 30 seconds) then the side of my head will feel sore for a few hours. They sometimes wake me from sleep, which is pretty scary... Julie.

5) I have had facial pain and pain on one side of my head for about a year. My facial pain is like an abscess tooth, but I have dentures so do not have any teeth to ache but it sure feels like it. The pain then goes across my cheekbone behind my eye into my head. This pain comes and goes, I have been on several different medicines and nothing seems to help... Robert.

6) My neurologist prescribed gravergol for my migraines because tryptans don't work well on me. This is an older medicine and I cannot find information about it from Google. What do you know about it and why isn't it popular on the web. Thanks, Louise

7) My question relates to my 20 year old son who is type 1 diabetic and suffers from migraine. He has had two major migraine attacks (one year apart) that the neurologist described as a delusional migraine. Both episodes occurred after he awoke from a nights sleep. He acts very much like when his sugar is extremely low, confused, not able to answer questions or even able to help himself at all... Tracy.

8) My migraines are increasing in occurrence and I'm very light/computer screen sensitive. I'm looking for suggestions on what sunglasses are the best. I have light skin/eyes, but have never worn sunglasses because of the reflections/glare that bother me also. I've heard of melanin glasses online, but can't find anyone familiar. Are adjustable lenses best, or solid color? Thanks, M.

9) I am a 43 yr. old woman who was recently diagnosed with migraines. I have suffered with them for many years, but thought they were sinus problems. I am currently taking 25mg of Topamax, once a day, and when I have a migraine, I take Maxalt. My question is, after I have had a bad migraine, one that lasts a day or two, I have a tingling sensation on one side of my face as if I had been burned... Thank you, Charlotte.

10) When I was 17 years old my doctor diagnosed me as having migraines. I hate taking any kind of medication, and I've tried every type of remedy (icepacks, changing eating habits, etc.) but only to find that they don't work for me... I've never had a CT scan (or know what it is). Do you think that is something I should look into doing? Sa'Lena
