1) I have always had headaches since I was a child, but for the last 5-6 years they have been daily. Most days the pain is just a dull ache, but some days it can be very intense and this can last for a week or longer... I also had a CAT scan which showed a 1cm exostosis on the inside left of my skull... Karin

2) I started seeing a pain management doctor in Fort Worth, Texas, by the name of Dr. X...  I receive injections in my head on the side that my migraines are once a month... After my first appointment with him, he gave me a prescriptions for OxyContin 15mg #180 and with the directions to take 1-2 q 4 to 6 hours. At my last appointment...  Dr. X. fell asleep in the chair that was sitting behind me... This doctor is beginning to worry me about his treatment. Should I have cause for alarm? Thank you, Sheryl.

3) I am a 37 year old female, who has had a headache going on 5 weeks now. It never goes away, however the intensity varies anywhere from a 3-9... One doctor said it was a tension headache, another said I was "stuck in a migraine". I do not normally get headaches, let alone migraines... I am thinking I might want to be tested for spinal meningitis... Deannie

4) I am a 28 year old female with frequent, often debilitating, migraines. These are accompanied by an audible aura -- generally a high-pitched squeal or a rapidly rising tone, rather like a chime. At times the aura is painfully loud. My physician prescribed Fioricet at first, but as I was experiencing so many, he switched to Imitrex. I recently heard that one should NOT take triptans if she experiences neurological auras . . . is this true? Why would this be and what will happen if I do take them? Thank you, Dori.

Patches, mom.

7) My husband has suffered with chronic migraines for the past three and a half years. He is currently on disability. He has been seen by leading migraine doctors. Lately he has been getting these sensations that he describes as "shocks". He said it feels like there is a lightning bolt in his head and every so often he will get an electrical shock that goes through his head and sometimes through his body... Thanks, Joni.

8) I seem to have a unique problem. I do not suffer from headaches or migraines, but visual disturbances that have been diagnosed as "ocular migraines". My ophthalmologist calls the episodes I have been experiencing, "photopsia". However, I can trigger it at will. If I go from a brightly lit environment to very dark, I will see flashing lights like a strobe light... Thank you, Stephanie

9) I had a CT scan 12 years ago and they found "Communicating Hydrocephalus". They did an MRI but I never heard anything from it. I do know that I did NOT have any complaints of discomfort, so I don't think my neurologist did anything. Recently, I've been getting headaches, preceded by blurred vision or flashes of light... I saw a doctor and she gave me Lortab 5mg, every 6 hours, as needed for HA (which doesn't really work, the pain is still there) and I'm due for a CT scan in 3 weeks... aline

10) I have been diagnosed with migraines about two years ago. I am 28 years old. I usually get them while I am sleeping and don't seem to be awakened by them until they are full blown... Do you have any ideas or suggestions on why I get migraines while I sleep? Barb
