1) I have been doing so much research on the internet and am desperately looking for an answer to my "dizziness." The dizziness happens frequently, but is noticed mostly while driving. I have severe episodes of extreme lightheadness... It is best described as the feeling right before you faint... Crystal

2) My son has been getting bad headaches/migraines lately. Before the actual headache he seems to have an aura however it's not one I've read about. He gets a bad taste in his mouth and has to keep spitting. He also gets nauseous which I know is a common aura... Thanks, Monica.

3) How would you compare the side effect profiles of Lyrica and Namenda in terms of safety? Is one drug known more than the other for causing potential long-term health risks? Also, has one been studied more than the other in terms of migraine prevention? ... Thanks! Hope.

4) I am 28 years old and I have been suffering with migraines for at least 6 years. Each time they get worse and worse. Most of the time I have an aura before I get the migraine followed by sever throbbing pain, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, and even sometimes the whole side of my body goes numb and tingles...

5) My partner has acute & debilitating headaches. They give her terrible nightmares and now she can't even turn her neck. I fear her condition is getting worse even after resuming her MAOI regimen of Parnate and occasional Klonopin. Is there a burnout in the efficacy of this sort of treatment after discontinuing and then resuming?... Lastly, is there ANY chance of directing us to a suitable doctor in the DC metro area? ... Alex.

6) I've suffered from migraines for years, and have never been able to take migraine medications that claim to stop them once they have started... I have a 2 questions that I haven't been able to find an answer to.
1. Have you heard of situations like this before where the usual common and newer migraine meds are making the migraines worse instead of actually helping?...
Thank you, Mrs. S.

7) I have been experiencing what I thought was a sinus infection; started with extreme pressure over my eyebrow bones and it hurt to roll my eyes, kind of like when you are getting over a cold. Then I began with a burning pressure on the top of my head. Went to Dr. and he said it wasn't sinus infection because of no cold or drainage, no fever either. Said to use DayQuil during day and NyQuil at night...

8) I have been on Topamax for a little over two months now, and am up to my intended dose of 50 mg. in the a.m. and 50 mg in the p.m. I have not had a migraine since I began taking Topamax, even in the titration period. I am still quite sensitive to the fluorescent lighting at work, some days I get dizzy, have trouble speaking, walking... Anne

9) I'm 32 and have headaches since childhood. I do see a neurologist who is actively still trying to help me. I have tried most of the headache meds including beta blockers, anti seizure meds, triptans, and many others with off label use for headaches... I haven't ever considered them "migraines"... Are there any new meds out there to PREVENT the headaches from coming on in the first place... Gwendolyn.

10) I had never had a migraine until about 9 months ago, and since then I have had 3 severe ones. Before I started getting them, I rarely got any headaches at all. The pain is so great I end up crying, shaking, and vomiting and it seems like they get worse every time. I'm wondering how to know when to consult a doctor about them. Lindsay.
