1) My pain specialist believes I have hemicrania continua -- a daily, unilateral headache with fluids around my eye membranes. I started on a regimen of indomethacin and felt better, but, unfortunately, this medication caused my liver function to be ten times out of the range of normal. Is there any viable alternative to indomethacin? Barb

2) ...just returned from a 2 week trip throughout Germany where I was drinking coffee every morning. At home I drink coffee maybe half as much. I've now returned for 4 days and have had one cup of coffee since being back could that cause the migraines I seem to be getting every other day now being home. I take Excedrin Migraine but, how much is too much? Thanks, Trever.

3) I've suffered from daily tension headaches for at least 12 years. In my right eye, I broke a blood vessel about 5 years ago. I just recently broke a batch more in the same eye on the other side of the iris. I am now on Topamax and Zoloft. Do you have any answers for me concerning whether my eyes will ever heal themselves?... Sincerely, Painful Peepers.

6) I am 50 years old, 6' tall and weight about 220lbs. Playing basketball last evening I felt a snapping in my head like a rubber band snapping (this is not the first time this has happened but under different circumstances) and shortly there after experienced some chest heaviness along with peptic stomach. This heaviness seem directly related to the amount of exertion expended playing the game...

7) How do you advise your postmenopausal migraine patients who seem to feel their estradiol patch is one of their migraine triggers? ... Whom should I see to regulate my hormones to hopefully reduce my migraines? Neither my gynecologist nor my neurologist seems to have expertise in this area and I can't find anyone who does. Any ideas? Thanks! Hope.

8) Do you have any information of a connection between heart murmur caused by the tissue flaps in the heart's upper chamber, called a PFO tunnel, not closing properly after birth, and migraines. Occasionally blood can be recirculated before it is cleansed by the lungs. Operations for other reasons to correct the problem have resulted in migraine cure.

9) I am a Type I diabetic with no particular complications of that disease. However in the past 6 weeks I've developed a constant pain (feels like pressure that hurts upon moving the area) in the back left side (occipital) area and left side of the neck. It is always worse as the day progresses and relieved when I am prone... My question is does the location give a clue as to whether it may be caused by... Molly
