1) My wife has suffered with severe migraines every day for the last year and before that every month for most of her adult life. She is now on 50 milligrams of oxycodone, 125 milligrams Topamax,... This is every day. An anesthesiologist in her doctors office wants to give her a shot in the back spinal area to relieve the pain and swelling in the muscles which he says will help the migraines at least 70%... 2) I was diagnosed in Dec 2005 with having complicated migraines. I am still having symptoms, numbness and tingling in entire left side of my body (face/neck/back/legs etc, impaired vision) even with treatment. Is this a common complaint for those with this diagnosis? I am concerned due to family history of stroke, etc. Thank you, Donna.

3) I want to know if there is a strong relationship between stomach/diet and migraines. I have been having neurological symptoms for some time now, and it often seems to be related to stomach problems. I often wake feeling shaky and a little headachy, with a "buzz" like feeling in my head and body. I also feel very woozy and dizzy... Thanks, Carly.

4) ...I have had these terrible beasts since I was 19. Did everything imaginable to rid them. I am 52 and at this time, I am taking Nadolol 40mg, twice a day. I don't have the headaches as often as I used to. I have the aura, with the zigzag lines and then pain is behind one or both of my eyes. My Dr. gave me a paper with some triggers, aged cheese, chocolate, peanuts, etc... Is there any kind of chocolate that a Migrainuer can eat that is not a cocoa base? Do bananas give headaches?... carolyn.

6) I was recently diagnosed as having a stroke then revised to having a complex migraine... I was out in the heat the day... I became confused, couldn't remember the president or the year or the best way to get back to the truck even though I new right where it was at... When I got out of the hospital I got another migraine exactly one month to the day and my period never came when I discontinued my Zovia (birth control)... Does the heat have any bearing on any of this?... I and still have some left sided weakness, I can't spell and do math as well.. Sheri

7) I was wondering if you ever recommend a certain make or brand of lens of sun glasses that are dark enough to aid in keeping the brightness of the light especially the sun to a minimum. I have purchased numerous sun glasses to no avail so am hoping that you may have some suggestions... Thank you, Marlene

8) Hi I am a 35 year old female. I suffered an episode 6 months ago which included disturbed vision (flashing and roving lights on only the right field of vision in both eyes), and transient numbness down the right side of my body... suspected of having a minor stroke. The vision problems abated, as did the numbness, but the weakness down my right side was not resolved... suspected diagnosis is chronic daily headaches... Can you tell me if it is normal to have language problems with headaches / migraines? Additionally, the transient numbness – how is this related to headaches, and can I expect it to be long-lasting... Tracie.

9) I suffer headaches caused by the amount of concussions I have had. Lucky for me Advil keeps most of them under control. For the times that it doesn't, I was wondering if heat or cold packs can take the edge off of a migraine. I have tried to search for this information and nobody seems to know which one, or if either even help at all... Thanks, Jeff.

10) ...Never had migraines till my 30's. I was seeing a doctor for an emotional disorder. I was taking Zoloft for my condition. After a year and a half I stopped taking the medicine. Shortly there after my migraines started. Is there any link or any information I can follow up on. Thank you for your time and experience. Scott.
