2) ...migraine headaches. I have
them quite often and sometimes they last for about 2 weeks. I mostly feel them
right at my forehead and behind my eyes but I also have a lot of pressure coming
from the back of my neck, where my neck and head connect. My neck muscles are
always sore... My doctor said that my migraines were caused from the tension in
my neck... Lina.

5) A recent MRI/MRA indicated that
there is "tortuosity within the proximal right posterior cerebral artery" ...

6) I am a 55 year old female and I
began having very infrequent migraines about 24yrs. ago, when I was pregnant
with my first child. I only have about 4 - 6 occurrences a year. However, for
the last 6 years I've been experiencing a different type of headache, which
occurs the day after I have 2 or more cocktails, which could be beer, wine,
etc... Sincerely, Diane

7) I have a 23 year old
developmentally delayed daughter with a seizure disorder. She contracted E-Coli
meningitis at 9 days old with complicated hydrocephalus. Had last Vp shunt was
placed 9 years ago. She recently started in with symptoms of a shunt
malfunction. It was replaced with the shunt that has the magnet to dial in the
pressure. We have made 11 trips to the Dr. in the past five weeks to get her
pressure right. She is still having headaches and the Dr. is telling me that he
suspects it to be migraines... Thank you. Jean.

8) I was wondering, after reading
your articles on Migraines, can they include a lot of neurological abnormalities
such as slurred speech, numbness or tingling in arms, cognitive malfunctions
like what you might find in MS? My doctors and I have completely ruled out MS,
Lymes and other neurological disorders... Thank you, Michelle

9) Hello, a question about
medications: isn't it almost an oxymoron to be given a Serotonin Receptor
Agonist for cluster headaches if one is already taking an SSRI, like Prozac?
Thanks.

10) I began to have headaches from
the age of nine in the 1940's. The headache started with tightening of the left
shoulder. Pain traveled up the left side of my neck, and eventually a thumping
pain began over my left eye. The pain would gradually speed over my entire head,
down to the sinuses and then into the lower jaw... I am now 68 years of age...
and lately the sinus pain happens more often, and lately I have been getting the
fluttering sick feeling that used to signal my violent headaches... thanks
George
