3) I have recently (about two weeks ago) stopped taking the birth control pill, Mircette, after taking it for 4 years. I am currently not taking any birth control pills. Since, stopping the pills I have been getting daily headaches, some very severe. Could this be directly related to stopping the pills?... Thanks, Colleen.

4) Sir, I have been a migraine sufferer for 27 years and had them under control until about 2 years ago, when an MRI showed 3 herniations in the cervical spine... I feel this is a muscle problem, not so much a migraine problem and that my migraines would decrease greatly once my back/neck is under control. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Also, would Botox injections be of help? Tim.

5) Hi, I'm 22-years-old and I've suffered from migraine attacks since I was about 14 yrs old. My migraine attacks include vomiting and sensibility to noise or light, I usually have to be taken in to the ER since nothing since to make the pain go away! But the attacks where I have to be taken to the ER only happen 1 or 2 in the year! I haven't had any treatment since I was 14... The thing about these headaches that do not have vomit and are not so strong is that they are mostly ocular I only have lots of pain on my left eye and on the left temple... what kind of test should I need... Thank you, Maggie.

6) I'm a 17-year-old girl that has migraine headaches every day if not every day then 6 out of 7 times a week. I have been diagnosed with migraine tension headaches but Midrin and Atenolol for my migraines but they have just make them worse... dizziness, fainting, black outs, nauseated, and a whole lot of pain in the head... I cry every night from the pain. I've lost pounds after pounds from being afraid to eat or from vomiting... Patricia.

7) This may be slightly bizarre, but I've been given a quest to find the cause of my significant other’s migraine troubles... My significant other has significantly debilitating migraine headaches, lasting from a few hours to a few days, with varying intensities... He only gets these headaches approximately two days after having masturbated... Sincerely, Concerned love.

8) My daughter has had a chronic headache since last January, almost a year. She has tried Maxalt and Relpax, both of which made the headache pain much worse. These are triptans. She has just been prescribed Midrin. Does it work the same way the triptans do leading to the conclusion that it will also probably make the headache much worse? Thanks, Jerry.

9) Is the type of headache you get as result of whiplash-type injury or neck strain from motor vehicle accident the same as a migraine headache? Can a migraine headache be "caused" by a motor vehicle accident which resulted in muscle strains/sprains or does the person already have the migraine history and the MVA-related injury aggravates or triggers the migraine? Thanks, Matt.

10) Can a migraine last for weeks, even months? I have two types of headaches, one which does seem to be migraine. The other consists of painful sinuses and clogged ears, and usually occurs during our very hot, very humid summers. I feel better with a course of cortisone, but then it comes back when the steroid is done. My doctor says these prolonged bouts also could be migraine, but I have never heard of migraines lasting for such a long period. Nothing I have read mentions any migraine lasting longer than about 72 hours. Do you have information relevant to such prolonged headaches?
