| QUESTION:
Hi, my name's
Richard, and I'm a 17-year-old budding pilot who suffers from
migraines. I currently cannot pass my medical as I suffer from them
and was wondering if there is a chance I can grow out of them or not.
If not, is there anything you can recommend? Thank you very much.
Dear Richard: This
is a very large question indeed. Have you consulted with a headache
specialist in your area? Active treatment of disabling headaches/migraines
is far better than waiting to grow out of the pattern, as this does not
often occur. Good luck,
We have a directory of specialists on our
