MemoryMinder

I quite often emphasize the importance of maintaining a headache and Migraine diary. However, there are times when we'd like to keep more information than can be conveniently recorded on the type of diary page that is simple for our doctors to review and analyze. I was using a blank journal for that purpose until I came across the "MemoryMinder Personal Health Journal" by MemoryMinder Journals, Inc.

Features of the MemoryMinder:

  • Rounded plastic, no-snag spiral binding
  • 224 page journal, two facing pages per day. To see a sample of the pages, click here.
  • Leatherette cover
  • 8½" X 6"
  • 90 sets of daily pages
  • Vinyl pocket for appointment cards, prescriptions, receipts, etc.
  • Additional sections for:
    • Personal medical history
    • Test results
    • Insurance and pharmacy information
    • Health care providers information
    • Purchases of vitamins, medications, medical supplies, etc.
    • Notes and questions

Use the Memory Minder to Record:

  • Blood pressure
  • Body temperature
  • Food intake and nutrition counts
  • Glucose (blood sugar) levels
  • Head-to-toe symptoms
  • Medications
  • Mood
  • Pain or discomfort
  • Physical activity
  • Vitamins, herbs, and other supplements
  • Skin changes
  • Sleep patterns
  • Weather
  • Weight

Summary:

The MemoryMinder Personal Care Journal is far and away the best, most comprehensive health journal I've seen. It can be used daily or only on days when you feel you have extra information to record. The size allows it to be easily carried and used. If you keep a health journal or want to, the MemoryMinder is absolutely a great choice.
