My concern might involve your blood pressure, which, if transiently too low, could be responsible for your visual symptoms and near-fall. In your decade, your bottom number for blood pressure should be somewhat higher. I'd talk to your internist about these symptoms. Some people have drops in blood pressure for unspecified reasons and these can be associated with all kinds of visual and other symptoms.
