You pose a number of questions at the same time and I'm not sure if they are related. Many people will se a decrease in usual headache pattern with increased stress, such as your large surgery. Choline Mag Trisal is a supposedly better absorbed form of magnesium (a supplement). Low potassium can possibly be associated with a headache, as can 150-200 other medical or surgical problems.
