Ask the Clinician

Question: ...taken Fiorinal for years...bad to be taking them so long? Doctor said no...

Answer:

Dear 10-year sufferer:
It may that you are suffering rebound just on the basis of your long exposure to Fiorinal. Your best bet is to see a headache specialist in your area. Many medications can help the process of saying goodbye to Fiorinal. They are not only more effective, but also safer for your stomach lining, as the aspirin in Fiorinal can do some harm.
Good luck,
John Claude Krusz
