  • 11) I have had a migraine for two days now. I went for a shot of Demerol last night & still have a headache. Is there something I can eat or drink at home now to relieve the pain that the injection did not get rid of?

  • 12) I work about 45 hours a week and am tired all the time. I usually have to drink 3 cups of coffee in the morning to just get going. I usually go to sleep around 7 and wake up at 4.if I sleep a 1/2 hour later I get a headache, but lately I have been sleeping the same hours and am not waking with a headache even though I have not been sleeping in late. I am having trouble using the right words. My kids are even noticing. I am having trouble remembering where I put things or forgetting what I was doing. I know it has to do with my constant fatigue and drinking caffeine to stay awake. Any help would be appreciated. I want to wake up headache free and not be so tired. Thanks for any help.

  • 13) Hello, I am an 18-year-old female and have had chronic daily headaches for six years along with the occasional migraine every few days. I've had an MRI, CAT scan, seen my eye doctor, gotten a jaw guard, and been on all the triptans, antidepressants and many more along with physical therapy to get rid of the tension in my back and neck. Nothing has helped in the slightest. I've seen 3 neurologists already and my most recent one told me the other day that she can no longer help me that we've tried everything. The whole reason I go to a doctor is because I can't deal with them anymore and then to be told there's no hope for me is rather discouraging. They seem to be triggered by sleep and stress, so I always make sure to get enough sleep and have tried multiple relaxing techniques but just when I think I know whets causing them, I'll get a migraine for a few days and not have any clue as to what caused it. Please any suggestions would be much appreciated. Michelle, Newington CT.

  • 14) I am a 66-year-old female. In the past 6 weeks I have been getting pains in the back of my neck. They radiate around my head, over the mastoid bones, temples and meet above my hairline at my forehead. The pains in the neck take my breathe away and throb. My neck is painful to touch. Never been bothered with headaches before. I am a diabetic. Thanks. Patty.

  • 15) I suffer with daily headaches. My family doctor prescribed amitriptyline and atenolol which got rid of the headaches completely, but it made me impotent. We switched to amitriptyline and toprol which did not work. I was referred to a neurologist and x-ray and CT scan were normal. I keep telling my doctor that the pain starts in the left side of my neck and then the headache comes on. If I move my head while I'm sleeping, I wake up. Any sudden movement of the neck brings on the headache. I am unhappy with my doctor because he does not seem to understand the headaches. What can I do next? Bobby.
