1) I have a daughter who is 14 years old. She started to get headaches 3 years ago, the doctors said it was migraines my daughter isn't feeling better, last year she miss 100 days in school due to theses headaches. She takes at nighttime pill before she goes to bed. But it's not working. And she takes pain medicine. It doesn't help us. Everyday she tells me her head hurts, our doctors are sick of us always calling for help. And she feels like that the doctors think she is faking it. Sometimes she is so bad she throws up that's when I take her to the hospital. They only abort the pain. She stills is in pain when the medicine wares off. I have been going to doctor after doctors but her pain is still there, is there anyone out there who could help her, she is slowly giving up on life and only wants to sleep and be left alone. Please I need to help her but don't know how. I will go anywhere and do anything to help her. I just don't where to get help. Please respond and help us. Thank you for your time, a very worried mother.

2) I am concerned about head pain that I am having. I also have partial facial numbness on the right side of my face. My pain comes in the form of stabbing sharp pain from above the temporal area and angling down. It also gets me in the occipital area. I wake up with pressure and even during sleep I am jarred awake with the pain and the pressure. Other times the pain is in my forehead and behind my eyeballs. In 1988 I had surgery for a bilateral subdural hematoma. My grandson had hit me in the forehead with a toy gun and apparently dislodged this 2" deep blood clot. Surgery was performed and bore holes were done to remove the blood. A few days after this surgery and when the stitches were removed, I was leaking fluid from my incisions. I was told I was leaking spinal fluid and I was stitched back up. The problem seemed to be solved. In 1992, I began suffering with facial pain that was continuous. It was discovered that I had a hygroma. A craniotomy was performed and a shunt was put in. In the last six months to a year I have started having facial numbness in the area of my upper lip and half of my nose and some of my chin. I have also been having waves of dizziness periodically. Along with this I have occasionally been having problems recalling names or words in general...sort of not being able to connect sentences. I find now and then, when I am driving, I may not recognize where I am although I have traveled that road quite often. And times that I do not know where I am going and cannot for the life of me get it to come to mind. I finally stopped the car and had to wait until I could recall it. Recently, I had a nerve conduction test and found that I have some neuropathy in my feet, legs and hands. I have not gotten the results of my EKG as yet. I am a type II diabetic and taking Avandia. Until the neuropathy started bothering me, I was able to keep my sugar low with exercising. I was prepared for an MRI but could not complete it because of claustrophobia. I am at a loss what to do. Sincerely, Judith.

3) Dear Dr. Krusz, My name is Sally and I am 40 years old. I have been having headaches for almost 10 years. I have headaches monthly, they last every month 3-5 days. During the hard pains I feel hungry ( wishing continuously to eat). I take Yasmin and Drostirenone - Ethinyle; estradiol 0.030 mg. I used to take meliane - gestodene 0.075 mg. Nowadays after my 10th Drostisterone pill the pains start and my headaches get more worse. I am using Dyperone to give me some relief. I wish to be aware on the side effects of this treatment, because I get weight and I perspire a lot from neck to up despite I have a conditioned environment in my room. I also vomit during my headaches. Thank you, Sally.
