8) I have been a migraine sufferer for 20 years and my headaches have always been the same. Today I experienced what I thought to be symptoms that were caused by low blood sugar. Blurred vision, a feeling of confusion, shaky hands and after that a mild headache. I thought the headache was caused by the rebound of the blood sugar. I went to the doctor who checked my blood sugar and said that it was fine but thought that the symptoms I described to be that of an aura and the mild headache to be the migraine building. I was given a shot of Toradol and felt better within an hour. This is not the first time that I have had these strange feelings. They seem to be happening more and more often and always in the morning. I am a little confused now because, as I said, for 20 years my headaches have always been the same. Why am I suddenly getting a different type of migraine? Do migraines change like this often? Can you be a sufferer of different types of migraines? Are these different types of migraines treated the same? Thank you. T. McConnell.

9) I am a 19 year old female who has been suffering from migraines for about 3 years. My doctor has tried all sorts of medications but nothing seems to work. We cannot figure out what my triggers might be, and have even done a CAT scan to try to find some reason for these attacks. Nothing can be found. My migraines have gotten to the point of being completely disabling and are keeping me from doing my job. Most of my family suffers from migraines and nothing can be found for them either. However they know what I am going through and try to be supportive. My co-workers on the other hand see it as just a headache, and don't understand why it prevents me from working. I am only 19 years old and am already having a hard time keeping jobs due to these migraines. I was wondering if they are considered a disability so that I might be able to get help when I lose a job like I did this week because of the severity of my migraines. if you can help me I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

10) Thank you for your time Dr. Krusz! I'm a 50 year old male that has never had a history of headache. I currently have had a 3 month long headache. It is constant (24-7), usually dull but moderate and occasionally severe and debilitating. The last few weeks I've also had tightness in the shoulder and neck, but that was not present the first two months. I've had blood work, ENT sinus exploration, MRI, CAT, chiropractic, massage, allergy medications, muscle relaxants, and anti-inflammatory meds. So far nothing has shown up as a probable cause and none of the treatments have been effective. My next try is to take Imitrex for awhile and see if that helps and have an appointment scheduled with a neurologist. I guess my question is does this sound like tension headache? I've read info on migraines, but the length of the pain and symptoms don't seem to match. Thanks again for your site and your feedback.
