5) I suffer from migraines which my G.P says are severe and he has given me a prescription for Antenolol 50 mg basically I was wondering if this was correct as this isn't actually a medicine for Migraines. Well, its not mentioned in the notes that come with the Antenolol,

6) Have been seeing an ear, nose and throat specialist for dizzy spells and tinnitus. After an MRI and ENG and trying a drug that didn't work, he thinks I may have migraines. I was tested once when I thought I was having one (had all the symptoms) but the test came up negative. My family doctor gave me SOMA to take when I get these bad headaches and it works. But the ear, nose and throat specialist gave me diazepam (2 mg) and to only take once a week as needed. This is valium and it makes me a little nervous to take it. Does it work and is it safe for migraines. Please help and thank you..

7) First let me preface my question with a few known factors. Do not have problem with carotid arteries, blood flow to brain, cholesterol level less than 170 at age 66, blood pressures systolic from 98 to 119 and diastolic from 52-57, and have no pain. Recently have been attacked by dark dense cloud of a pulsating nature which comes from right side, creating complete darkness in the field of vision on the right and moving to left field of vision, leaving small triangle of light and vision out left periphery. Had to hang on to counter to keep from dropping to knees. Recent episode lasted 30-45 seconds. Seems much longer. Could this be an ocular migraine? What are dietary contributors? Is there a way to confront short of prescription drugs? Thanks much for this fine service, Elmer.

8) I have been a hormonal migraine sufferer since my teens. I get a migraine around the 2-3 day of my period and they can continue for 3-6 days. I have tried everything under the sun--nothing seems to work long-term. It seems like my migraine has to " run it's course". Since October or November of '03, I've noticed that I become dizzy, foggy for about 1-2 days before the migraine actually starts. I feel very ill for the remainder of the migraine. It almost feels like the flu--nauseated, headache, dizzy, weak. I did think it was the flu at one time but it has been happening every month with my period. I am 39 yrs old so could it be my hormones changing and would estrogen 2-3 days before my period and 2-3 days into my period help? Thank you, Sandra.
