1) I hit the back of my head in a pool in October and I have been taking medication. The pain has decrease but it still lingers enough to irritate, so my doctor said I bruised the back of my head and gave me cyclobenzaprine. Do you think I should be ok with prescription because there have been no wired signs since the incident or should I have a further examination based of your experience?

2) I'm female, 41 and live in Australia. I've had migraines for a very long period of time, this time initially triggered off by mononucleosis in 1999. In November 2002 I was finally referred to a neurologist who suggested Inderal and Endep which has helped to some extent but has not entirely gotten rid of them. However as I was working part time with flexible hours I was able to manage them by going early on the bad days and working back on the good days. I'm now in a different job which is full time where I don't have that flexibility. I've been to about 3 doctors who refuse to re refer me to a neurologist even though I've explained it could cost me my job. I've been totally honest about the cause, my medical history etc and believe that they are chalking it up to "stress" and thus refusing any treatment. Any suggestions on how I can get past the doctor to a suitable specialist? Kind regards, DJ.

3) Hi, I started Topomax about a month ago, and I take 75 mg in morning and 75 at night. For the last week I have had a migraine constantly in behind my eyes. Normally it is either on my right side or left but this is behind both eyes. Is this from the drug? Is this a side effect and should I have my eyes checked as I know there are side effects regarding your eyes. Esther.

4) I am now 60-years-old and have had migraines since I was in my early 20's. When Imitrex came on the market it was a wonder drug for me. I wake up with headaches a lot and try and just put up with them but usually end up taking Imitrex. I find that if I just cut a pill in 1/2 and take it, the pain will go away. I go through about 6 pills a month. A few days ago I read that you are not suppose to cut up Imitrex pills....could you please let me know why and if it can harm you. Also is 6 pills a month harmful to ones health? If I take over the counter medication I end up with rebound headaches. Can you get a rebound headache from Imitrex? Apparently there is medication that you take everyday that will help control migraines...should I be on them? If they don't work can you still take Imitrex? Thank you, Evie.
