Dr. David Ryan Marks received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of California at Santa Barbara, where he graduated summa cum laude,
and received his M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine. He also
received a Master of Public Administration degree from New York University. Dr. Marks is board certified in internal medicine, and completed his internship and residency at the Yale University School of Medicine/Greenwich Hospital program in internal medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident. He then served as fellow in allergy and clinical immunology at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Most recently, he was medical director of the internationally renowned New England Center for Headache in Stamford, Connecticut, where he continues to serve in an advisory capacity. Dr. Marks now works as a health reporter for WVIT-TV, the NBC television station in Connecticut. He has also appeared on "Today," "Good Morning America," MSNBC, and the Fox News Channel. Prior to WVIT-TV, Dr. Marks was co-host of the nightly show "We The People" on the Regional News Network. He has authored numerous articles for magazines, newspapers and scientific journals; his first book, The Headache Prevention Cookbook, was published in July, 2000 (Houghton Mifflin). In addition, Dr. Marks' offbeat commentaries on the politics and practice of medicine are featured regularly on Public Radio. Dr. Laura Marks is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Yale University School of Medicine. She did her internship in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital and completed her pediatric residency at the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. She practices pediatrics in Westport, Connecticut. |
